Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary

Bondla is one of the most frequented birding hotspots in Goa. It is one of the first choice among visiting birders looking to get a glimpse of Goa's bird life. This is one place where birding is relatively easy with the forest not too dense. The forest inside and the plantations and open spaces outside it makes for a good variety of forest as well as non-forest species.  Despite being one of the smallest wildlife sanctuaries in the state it has a very rich bird life. The sanctuary also encompasses a zoo.
