Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary

Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary is the largest sanctuary in Goa and probably the most bio-diverse. It has some of the finest yet relatively unexplored forests in the state. Home to nearly 200 species of birds, the birding here is from the foothills of the Western Ghats to its crest in Goa. The typical forest here is mixed deciduous to semi-evergreen with a good network of streams and tabletop grasslands.

Key Species: White-cheeked Barbet, Malabar Barbet, Flame-throated Bulbul, Square-tailed Bulbul, Grey-headed Bulbul, Asian Fairy Bluebird, Rufous Babbler, Indian Scimitar Babbler, Wynaad Laughingthrush, Lesser Yellownape, White-bellied Blue Flycatcher, Indian Blue Robin, Mountain Imperial Pigeon, Dark-fronted Babbler, Yellow-browed Warbler, Black Eagle, Rufous-bellied Eagle, Crested Goshawk, Malabar Trogon, Crimson-backed Sunbird, Orange minivet, Sri Lanka Frogmouth.

Exclusions: Bottled water, Sanctuary entry tickets, Breakfast and travel to the location is not provided in the trip cost but it can be organized at an additional cost. Breakfast (veg) and Lunch (veg) can be organized.

Things to carry: Binoculars, Cap/Hat, Shoes, Sunscreen, Insect repellent, Camera (optional), refillable water bottle.
